The photo guide
A great figure starts with a great photo. Here's how to give us the best to work with. Don't stress about perfection โ every figure is made to order by a real person. after you order, we review your photo by hand and may send a quick message if we need a better shot โ then we sculpt, print, and finish it.
Do
- One subject per figure (we'll quote duos separately).
- Face clearly visible and in focus.
- Good, even lighting โ natural daylight is perfect.
- Front-facing, looking toward the camera.
- High resolution โ the bigger the file, the better.
- A plain or simple background is easiest to work from.
Don't
- Blurry, dark, or grainy phone screenshots.
- Heavy filters, sunglasses, or hats hiding the face.
- Group shots where it's unclear who to sculpt.
- Tiny, zoomed-in, or low-resolution crops.
- Strong shadows across the face.
- Back-of-head or side profiles only.
For pets ๐พ
Get down to their eye level, use a treat or toy to get their attention toward the camera, and snap in daylight. A clear shot of their face and markings helps us capture their personality.
